A:  Heritage Place is located less than 100 miles north of the Twin Cities in Hinckley, MN.  It is halfway between the Twin Cities and Duluth, about 3 miles off Interstate 35W.

Q:  Can I do anything other than scrapbook?

A:  Yes!  Although the house has been marketed for scrapbookers, any crafting group is welcome to enjoy the spacious workroom.  For quilters, there is an electrical outlet at each table for your convenience.

Q:  How much space is there for each person to work?

A:  Each person has a 3' x 5'  table, complete with task lighting.

Q:  What tools are available to use at Heritage Place?

A:  There are many items including two computers and two printers, scissors, die cuts, Xyron 900, Xyron Design Runner, etc.  We also have a Wishblade that is available for rental. For a complete list of the extensive tool list, please see the post under the Crop Room section of the bulletin board.

Q:  I'd like to visit Heritage Place but I only know a few people who scrapbook, what are my options?

A:  Although the majority of the bookings are to one person/coordinator who plans the visit with her friends or clients, there are a couple of other options to ensure everyone who would like to visit Heritage Place gets a chance to do so.

First, you can post a message to our bulletin board to see if anyone is looking for a few people to join them for the stay they have already booked.

Another option is to join a "Hosted Weekend".  These happen quarterly throughout the year, are hosted by the owner, and include food and an informational class on a current  scrapbooking technique.  Look for these dates on the  Availability Calendar or click here for more information.

Q:  When is check-in/check-out?

A:  Check in is 4:00 pm.  Check out is noon.  Please feel free to request variances as there may be some flexibility.

Q:  How should I dress?

A:  Comfort is King.  Wear what you like.  The home has three zoned heatingand cooling to ensure the comfort of our guests.
